Been a busy July, got a big interview this week. Hopefully if i get it i’ll see if I can still try to fly out and with the D to visit Ryan’s in August. Apart from that just general madness, Hows everybody doing?

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts. been meaning to write bout UP, it was awesome but the 3-D glasses hurted my eyes and (i think) wasn’t needed, since the animation story held the film up perfectly well. First act a bit much for a childrens film, no? Nothing brings kids to the cinema like widowed old lonely men. But been busy, getting prints ready to put up for sale and a rather cool gig designing some merch for a pretty big indie-rock bands summer tour. I know its to late to get everything in order (passes probably sold out) but who’s heading down to the CON this year?
Don’t know who caught Conan’s big debut on the Tonight Show, if so what you think?

Well I assume everybody caught Star Trek this weekend, as part of our geek-ily duties.
I liked it, was it the greatest sci-fi movie of the 21st century. no.
Was it as cool, yes. A good B + rating from me.
But one thing bugged me as we stepped out the cinema…
I don’t know if i dig the whole alternate timeline / parellel universe stuff.
So in essence it’s a big fuck you, all your favorite Star Trek episode & crap that ain’t happenin’ now,
Cause now the Enterprise is in a whole parallel universe writing a whole new time line.
Or does history find a way to balance itself out… Hmmm Kirk did end up captain (surprise surprise)
I dunno time travel always leaves a bad taste in my mouth..
Hey long time no post, been slight hectic-ness, sorry bout that. Mike’s comment though led made me ponder what i think are the greatest innovations created during the course of human existence:
