This nights South Park was pretty awesome; especially for the awesome tribute to the cheeseball animated classic Heavy Metal. Oh man, i remember when i saw this on HBO at like 2 in the morning i must have been round twelve, i was tripping balls. Suddenly, cartoons were more than just Ren & Stimpy and the Adventures of Darkwing Duck….
zombie pilots. crazy aliens. and of course “major boobage.” any pre-adolescent boys dreams come true.

hey mike, yeah portishead third comes out today- this is the
big super-luxe vinyl edition. heres the link;if you have 40 pounds to spare. heard, some tracks of it…. i’d expect something better after 25years…
here’s the video for “machine gun”, sounds like some one listened to too much NIN then didn’t know what to do. I’m a fan of minimalistic Kraftwerk inspired synthesizer noodling; but doesn’t really fit with Portishead at all.
thanks again for all the birthday wishes; its been okay. super busy & super lazy at the same time. sorry its been dead round here; i’ve really had nothing to blog about. oh, who’s gonna go see harold and kumar this weekend; looks good.
oh well back to toiling infront of InDesign for another 8hrs. huzzah
love the work of encyclopedia pictura, its just fuckin’ insane, there work is such a cool mixture of cgi & stop motion; plus visually its like some weird acid trip to fraggle rock… awesome.
