well last night me and jen went to go see wall-e, we were mad hyped. i got tickets in advance cause i knew it would be chaotic; which it was. We got there at like 9:30 for the 9:45 show, and already the line was outside the damn theatre; but we managed to get in / even though we ended up getting shitty third row seats.
after a lengthy amount of previews (seven or so) for such jems like Hollywood Chiuaua (wtf) and multitude of shitty CG films about talking animals who don’t want to be animals (that stupid mouse one; which reminded me a biiit to much of Ratatoulie; just saying) the Pixar short finally came on.
Presto was awesome it was like an old Looney Tunes bit; just taking one gag and running with it. Like Portal meets Bugs Bunny ( plus i really liked the opening credit homage to that & the cool handbill closing credits ) Then came Wall-e; holy shit it looked beautiful the first 20-mins of just following / poorl lil’ ole wall-e. then as soon as the other robot comes in / Bam the fuckin power goes out.
and everyone had to get out of the theatre, we got a free pass but stilll … WTF. i hate you AMC. your on the list, along with Martin Short, the number 18, and SIx Flags.
Needless to say were going back, to catch the rest of it sometime this weekend. Jen’s busy getting shit done, so maybe not till monday.
we saw this at a used record store over the weekend / holyshit.

last night jen & me went to this killer show at super 7 in japantown, free beer & free classic arcade games. plus a whole lot of really cool expensive japanese toys. there were even prizes awarded for getting the high scores in each of the games. one of the big prizes was a f’n wii?!! damn i wish i had honed my ms.pac-man skills.
oh jen got me (as a reallllly late b-day gift) the most nerdtaskic shirt. i’m sure Mike’s seen it before. i’ll post a pic later ons.
damn i wanted to go to this shit too, will be cool live.
