mega man 9 or no, it can’t be 1987 again…

So i saw this poster somewhere and had too do a double take.. i thought maybe capcom was copping the old cheesy box art of the first two megaman games, as some weird retro aimed promotional tool. Then i go on Kotaku earlier, and find out that the acutal game is a complete throwback to the 8-bit days.
I’ll admit i’ve been Wii loop for a few, have been playing some Paper Mario & F-Zero though… so i didn’t know that this is gonna be a WiiWare game, i thought it was DS or something ( I looked at the current WiiWare games available…Family Table Tennis…yawn.)

It’s kind of weird though this retro for the sake of being retro, could a nice cleaned up version of the old school Megaman games been done instead; kinda like whats going on with the new Street FIghter. Or is this appealing to those retro vdeogame starved 20-30 somethings who have POW block T-shirts (Ray) , eight copies of Metroid (Mike) and  vinyl toy Goombas (Smug) who want to go relive the 1987 fun. Cause if i remember the first two Megaman games weren’t much fun, they were a bitch.

Here’s the intro movie clip (not as cool as the one Megaman 2… you know the one the scrolls up the big building with megaman up top looking all badass.) I think it might be trying a little too hard…. But I dunno.

Movie Title Cards

hey everybody, randomly found this site (well for me at least) is pretty cool its just a collection of assorted movie title cards from the assorted history of moviedom, its a nice little procrastination tool! Heres some assorted cool ones; (true i don’t know if the Dawn of the Dead one is the greatest tile card, but its just cool) I also like all the statement title cards: Don’t Go Into The Basement, I Wake Up Screaming, Someones Watching Me…. mine would be Don’t Open The Refrigerator. It is a horror movie in there, or maybe a comedy.. depending on if you think a three month old block cheddar is hilarious.

Thinking about the Tenth Dimension

is giving me a headache. but this is a pretty cool little animated video trying to explain theoretical stuff thats wwwwway out of my league. I mean i made it too the 6th dimension still saying to myself oh this makes sense… then it got heavy.

The les savy fav vid is awesome, i want a little figure of that bear.
the other two are okay, man man one is just weird (like hamburger making a collect call)
and reminds me off a weird mix of andy rementer & spongebobs…
enough jibba-jabba. two slices of day old pizza await me.
