i don’t know what this is doing on HBO, but it looks kinda funny.. this one made me spill my drink.

Here’s some stuff i put together for mikes some 90’s and some newer stuff. Ratatat is awesome like a soundtrack to a Genesis game that never was made, Liars are cool too. MBV, Polvo, Explosions in the Sky, and Built to Spill = guitar noodling of over 7mins each, all different stylins though; MBV = fuzzy dream guitars, Polvo = fuzzy loud guitars Explosions = quiet,loud,quiet…then..not that loud again guitars. Built to Spill = mellow pop guitars. Grandaddy, hmm that song sounds familiar… i dunno from where. Mogwai instrumental moodiness & Cat Power lyrical moodiness. And Pavement.. is Pavement.
that’s right. it’s jesus.

A long time ago in a funky galaxy far far away…
This little gem from 1977 apparently it was a big hit back then, riding high on the star wars fever. So i guess it was inevitable it would disco-ized, which seemingly defying all known logic was also very big in the 70s (pshhh, thanks alot John Travolta…)
I love the cover of the LP too, i don’t recall Han Solo in a getup like that… hmm probably from some other part of the galaxy where dress like flamboyant stormtroopers. Alderaan perhaps. (if that case I’m glad they blew that planet up.)
Check it out in all its space disco glory.
Oh, did i mention its over 10mins long…well check out most of its space disco glory.
Looking for this… i’m guessing its just as awesome. but holiday-y… (shutters)
