Hey guys, sorry for the lack of posts. been meaning to write bout UP, it was awesome but the 3-D glasses hurted my eyes and (i think) wasn’t needed, since the animation story held the film up perfectly well. First act a bit much for a childrens film, no? Nothing brings kids to the cinema like widowed old lonely men. But been busy, getting prints ready to put up for sale and a rather cool gig designing some merch for a pretty big indie-rock bands summer tour. I know its to late to get everything in order (passes probably sold out) but who’s heading down to the CON this year?

Yeah, that first act may be a little rough for kids. But, hey, 60 years ago, kids had to endure Bambi’s mother getting murdered. So, I’m sure kids could handle “Up.”
Congrats on the designing job! Are you allowed to divulge who the band is, or no?
As for the Con, I’m going, and I’m taking Bre with me. This will be the first year that I go all 4 days, plus preview night. I’m gonna be so tired the Monday after.

Mayra, June, Olive, and I are going. It’s either gonna the best thing, or the worst thing I ever thought of. Passes are indeed sold out for every day of the Con. I think if you hurry you can still get passes for NEXT year.

the emoticon language is still new to Mike. I think its ok to say who, the band’s Death Cab For Cutie. Yeah, their manager shot me an e-mail on Tuesday, giving me pretty much free-range to make some cool stuff for the bands tour starting in mid July, so deadlines next week. eep!

Damn, well hope everybody has fun at the CON. Mike, i think it’ll be cool. Just bring enough snacks and stuff to last through the day. Yes! Jen and I saw this like two months ago! and “it’s been tearing me appppaart” ever since! Did you know it was filmed here in San Francisco? you wouldn’t know from the 29 times the show a pointless pan shot across the Golden Gate Bridge!
